Dominic Scelzi Produces Top 10 During World of Outlaws Season Debut

Inside Line Promotions – PERRIS, Calif. (Sept. 15, 2025) – Dominic Scelzi earned a top-10 finish last Friday during his first World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series start of the season.
That gives him at least one top 10 with ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ during each of the last 11 years.
“We’re aiming for more than just top 10s, but with some of the struggles we’ve faced this season it’s a good night to run near the front with the World of Outlaws,” Scelzi said. “Hopefully we can continue to build on that.”
Scelzi qualified eighth quickest, placed third in a heat race and ended the main event 10th at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway in Bakersfield, Calif.
He followed with a 17th-place outing on Saturday at Perris Auto Speedway.
“The weekend overall was a bit back and forth as we weren’t able to make the progress we wanted on Saturday,” he said. “However, taking some momentum from Friday and heading to one of my favorite tracks this weekend, I’m optimistic.”
Scelzi will join the World of Outlaws this Friday and Saturday at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif., during the Dennis Roth Classic.
“The Dennis Roth Classic is a big event on the West Coast that honors someone who has been very helpful throughout my racing career,” he said. “We have a lot of laps and have enjoyed a lot of success over the years in Tulare so hopefully we can have two strong nights this weekend.”
