Fighting Angels Foundation newest partner for 410 driver Ryan Smith

Fighting Angels Foundation, Inc. signs on with #94- 410 Sprint car driver Ryan Smith for 2014 sponsorship!
Akron, Ohio- #94 RWR/S&S Speedways 410 Sprint Car team is proud to announce the addition of a new partner for 2014.
Fighting Angels Foundation, Inc, a charitable, tax-exempt, 501(c) (3) organization, dedicated to support and fund research and raise awareness of the rare neuro-genetic disorder Angelman Syndrome (AS).
Angelman syndrome (AS) is a complex genetic disorder that primarily affects the nervous system. Characteristic features of this condition include delayed development, intellectual disability, severe speech impairment, and problems with movement and balance (ataxia). Most affected children also have recurrent seizures (epilepsy) and a small head size (microcephaly). Delayed development becomes noticeable by the age of 6 to 12 months, and other common signs and symptoms usually appear in early childhood.
Fighting Angels Foundation, Inc. understands how loyal and loving race fans are and have come to appreciate Ryan Smith’s passion to excel. Ryan has a very supportive fan base which he hopes will serve as a vehicle to help educate race fans and others on this genetic disorder.

Fundraising efforts are ongoing as there is an understanding and proof as to what causes Angelman syndrome thus seeking a possible cure is probable. 1 in 15,000 children are affected by this disorder. Without donations and private funding there would be no research, as there is no public or government funding available for AS research.
