Bookout Begins 2017 Season at Devils Bowl ASCS Spring Nationals
Competing against 48 of the best ASCS drivers in the nation, Michael Bookout began the 2017 season, in Mesquite, TX, at the historic Devils Bowl Speedway. Bookout finished 3rd in his heat race and ran the fastest laps of the drivers in his heat while trying to catch the first two cars as the race drew to a close.
In his qualifier, Bookout finished 10th which put him in one of the "B" Features. Although he did not complete the feature due to wheel problems, Bookout finished 9th out of 16 drivers.
