USAC Next Generation Round 1

Micahel raced in Phoenix in round 1 of the USAC Next Generation Tour. Michael won the heat and main in the Unrestricted Animal division. He raced his new car built by GT American with his new motor by Al Hawkins in the Heavy AA division. Michael ran 4th in the heat race and 3rd in the main. In Heavy World Formula Michael's car was fast all weekend and he got tangled racing for the lead with Cole Custer and went to the back of the field. Unfortunately, while battling thru the field several more times he got spun out and went to the rear and finally ended up 5th. Michael was disappointed with his finish but enjoyed the competitive racing.
