Michael clinches Unrestricted Animal Championship

Michael finished 2nd in the Unrestricted Animal at the new Kalamazoo track and clinched the USAC Next Generation Championship. He said we struggled with car set ups all weekend and a late race yellow allowed him to get to the 2nd position. Michael also finished 7th in Heavy World Formula. In Heavy AA Michael was involved in a first lap crash where two cars spun in front of him and he hit Ross Rankine and flipped his TEAM Enterprises Atlas Pumping Quarter Midget and destroyed the front end. The car was unrepairable and he was scored 12th.
