"Boden wins Micro season finale at Plymouth" "Bogar claims third Badger Micro Crown"
Plymouth, WI, Sept. 9---Zach Boden won the 15-lap Badger 600 Micro Series presented by Race Pass feature, Saturday Night at the Plymouth Dirt Track. Chad Bogar finished second in the event clinching his third career series championship in the season finale.
Bogar paced the initial seven laps before Boden took the lead. Once in front Boden went onto to win his fourth series feature victory of the season. Bogar, Jack Vanderboom, Dave Collins,and Preston Ruh completed the top five.
Bogar who had previously won the series championship in 2011-12, finished seventeen points ahead of Vanderboom. Defending series championTory Strauss, Boden, and Collins rounded out the top five in points.
The Mid-State Equipment/Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie Badger Midget Racing Series concludes their 81st season of racing, in two weeks with the running of the 7th annual "Bill Waite Jr. Memorial Classic" on Sunday Sept. 24 at LaSalle (Ill.) Speedway.
