Berck climbs to third with SLMR at Huset's Speedway
Kyle Berck made his way to South Dakota’s Huset’s Speedway last week as the Malvern Bank West Series shared the spotlight during the 15th annual Silver Dollar Nationals weekend.
With the SLMR program spanning Thursday and Friday, Berck set the tone early by qualifying second-fastest in his group before finishing fifth in his heat race.
Lining up ninth for Friday’s $6,053-to-win A-Main, Berck charged forward six positions over the course of the 30-lap feature to claim a strong third-place finish, joining race winner Dallon Murty and runner-up Jesse Sobbing on the podium.
