JCM BATTLES WET CONDITIONS IN WICHITA FALLS

5/14/2019 – JCM Battles Wet Conditions in Wichita Falls

Saturday, May 11th the Jeremy Campbell Motorsports team made a first time appearance at water-logged Monarch Motor Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas. The facility battled wet conditions all evening, with a 3 hour delayed start, and multiple competitors leaving before racing action began. The 10c team decided to stick in out, but Campbell tangled with the wall because of visibility issues during the heat race. Choosing to use his Champion provisional, Campbell bypassed the B and started scratch in the main event. He began working his way towards the front, before handling issues caused by the conditions forced him to pull off.

“It’s not the way I wanted to represent NCRA, especially as the only team here from our group” said Campbell. “But I’m happy to make the journey here and hopefully help facilitate more events between our two series. Had the region not battled so much rain these last few weeks I think we would have put on a great show.”

Next up for Jeremy Campbell Motorsports is a community event with marketing partners Knoche Farms and Knoche Transport in Abbyville, Kansas followed by a NCRA 360 event May 26th at 81 Speedway.
