LICHTFELD SECURES PRO LATE MODEL TRIPLE CROWN TITLE IN BREWSTER'S LANES 50

Wisconsin Dells WI-Mike Lichtfeld was crowned the Pro Late Model Triple Crown Champion at Dells Raceway Park with a win in the Brewster’s Lanes 50 lap feature. Frank Beldowski and Clayton Storey would bring the 22 car field to the green. Beldowski would jump to the early lead and would lead for 20 laps. Matt Urban would flash to the lead and try to get away as the laps ticked away. With 13 laps remaining the Defending Pro Late Model Champion and Fast Qualifier Mike Lichtfeld (14.124) had worked from his 15th starting spot to challenge for the lead. Try as he may Urban was not able to hold off the 44 as he drove away to the checkers. Lichtfeld was followed to the line by Matt Urban, Thayran Rezin, Frank Beldowski and Nick Nolden. The Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash was won by Mahlon Borntreger. The heat races were won by Kevin Kulka and Matt Urban. In addition to the Pro Late Model Triple Crown Championship Lichtfeld grew his 2023 points lead on Nick Nolden with 3 points races remaining. The Pro Late Models are back in action next week as part of the Walbeck Classic Presented by Truck Country of Deforest.
