Weekly Racing Results - August 13, 2016
It was a great week for the k00 machine. We made the trip down to Beatrice Speedway again to get some extra laps on the car. We came away with a 15th place finish which is not what we were looking for but we were able to get some kinks worked out before the show on Saturday at Eagle Raceway. The extra laps at Beatrice really paid off for us the next night at Eagle. The car was very fast and was set up great for the track conditions. We won our heat which put us 2nd row inside to start the feature. We took the lead on lap 2 and had some great head to head racing with Gunnar Pike. After a caution we got the lead back with 9 laps to go. After leading the race for a few laps we were passed with 5 or 6 laps to go but raced hard to the end and came away with a 4th place finish in the A feature. We will not be racing at Beatrice this weekend but will be racing at Eagle on Saturday. Come see us this Saturday in the pits after the races!
