Colt Johnson racing team was all set and ready to go for some great racing at NCQMA during the Carolina Clash!
Friday (4/15/22)
Colt Johnson had an early start to the race day and a busy one to come. Colt had 2 practice runs in each of his cars. (Heavy Honda and Heavy 160). He was the fastest he has ever been and looking great! Heat races came around and Colt rocked it! He won BOTH of his heat races by a landslide! He was competing with other racers that have multiple national championships.
Saturday(4/16/22)
Colt was up and ready to show his competitors that he is a force to be reckoned with. Colt started 2nd in the Heavy Honda A main. He got shuffled to the back on the 1st couple of laps and tried his hardest to get back up to the top. After a no cation race, Colt ended up getting 5th. In Heavy 160 Colt started in 3rd and struggled the whole race as he was battling with multiple cars to get back to the top. This is one if the toughest classes in the USAC .25 Midgets but Colt is ready to learn more and more with each race he does and he is getting better and better with time!
