SANDBERG GOES FROM LAST TO FIRST
Lane Doll led the field to the green flag in the IMCA Sport Compact feature. Aiden Wagner, making his Dacotah Speedway debut, quickly grabbed the lead. Wagner’s lead was short lived as track champion, Ken Sandberg, motored by to take the lead on lap three. Mid race cautions slowed the pace down but each time, Sandberg pulled away on the restart. Sandberg cruised to victory ahead of Andy Reed. It was a three car battle for third between Wagner, Cassie Tomlinson and Alex Thompson. When the checkered flag waved, Aiden Wagner held off Alex Thompson and Cassie Tomlinson to finish third.
