Owens eighth in Tar Heel 53 at Tri-County Racetrack
For his lone start over the weekend, Jimmy Owens entered the Koehler Motorsports No. 20 machine into battle with the Castrol FloRacing Night in America miniseries for the Tar Heel 53 at Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, N.C.).
With 34 competitors signed in, Owens missed a transfer position in his heat race but earned a spot in the A-Main after winning his B-Main. For the $23,023-to-win feature, Jimmy weathered a few cautions to finish inside the Top-10 in eighth.
