Driver Information

I was born and raised in Winnipeg . Lived in Montreal for ten years then moved back " home" in 76. Have worked at Macdon for 37 years and just celebrated my 60 th birthday in march! Have always liked car racing .Watched it growing up . My dad worked on aircraft in the war and then as a mechanic at T C A , which is now Air Canada. He was always " fixing " something around the house so that's where I got interested in working on cars. I learned a lot from my dad. He and mom were my first "sponsor " on my race car. Miss him a lot! I remember hearing the race cars when they raced at brookland speedway when I was a kid living in willow park . I went to the races a lot always just watching , then at rrcs a coworker of mine who was helping out a driver in super trucks said to me "let's build a race car" so we built a 4 cly ford probe and went racing . Got lots of seat time it was fun but not fast enough so we got the escort GT already built , which is way easier to do and we were a little more competitive. Then he wanted to sell the escort and build another car, so I bought the escort and so they say "the rest is history " here I am still having fun out on the track! Which is what it's all about.

Career Highlights

Every time I get in my car it's a highlight! A few years back at my home track Red River Coop speedway I had almost all of my brothers and sisters in Winnipeg for a family event , and I got them to come out and watch me race , well the track was great to me that night as it was dry just the way my little escort likes it ! I managed to finish second in the feature that night. That would be my highlight of my racing career so far!
