McCowan 11th in Corn State Nationals at Davenport Speedway

Dillon McCowan was back behind the wheel of his family owned No. 8 machine as he made the trip to Davenport (Iowa) Speedway on Friday afternoon for the Corn State Nationals doubleheader with the MARS Late Model Championship Series.

For the $5,000-to-win opener, McCowan was slated to start eighth, but pulled off before taking the green flag after discovering a mechanical issues. Dillon found better luck on Saturday night and finished just outside the Top-10 in 11th during the $10,000-to-win finale.
