Legendary Arkansas Race Car Driver Jim Hunt of the C45 car to pass down the torch to his son
Word has it that the driver of the red and blue C45 race car (which is known for racing at tracks such as: Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park in Poplar Bluff, MO, Crowley’s Ridge Raceway in Paragould, Arkansas, St. Francois County Raceway in Farmington, MO, and others) Jim Hunt is going to be introducing his son Lucas into dirt track racing starting this year, Lucas said that ever since he was a kid he has always wanted to ride in the race car with his dad and that now he has that chance at just 17 this young man has a lot to learn and although this may be the first time that he will be joining his father in their car during the races it won’t be his first time riding in a race car with his father, Lucas has rode in the car with his father around the track many times since he was just a boy as well as in race cars belonging to family friends and he said that he’s both nervous and excited to begin his journey in dirt track racing.
