Driver Information

Brief History

Clay started racing Go-Karts locally at 5 years old. He won three track championships at his local track in Hobe Sound, Florida. He then started traveling to run the Florida State Series at the age of 8 and won six State Series Championships along the way.

Clay then decided to start racing outside the state of Florida. Competing in the Dyno Cams Tri-State Pro Series, Tri-State West Series, National Karting League, and Mid-Atlantic Series Harris claimed a combined total of 13 championships along with running some national events

He won two Unili Tire Nationals, two World Karting Nationals, one Inox Nationals, and four Maxxis National Championships. One of the four Maxxis National Championship was the Junior Champions of Championships. Only past National Champions are allowed to compete, which made it very special to win that race.

After reaching all his goals in Karting in the junior divisions the team wanted to move on to Dirt Late Model racing. In 2017 they made the division change. Competing in the Crate Late Model Class with a 602 crate motor, he won 5 races in his first 14 starts and is really enjoying the new challenge.

Clay is looking forward to moving up the ladder through the ranks of Dirt Late Model racing.
