The Northern Stars Invitational is a weekend event. Racing on Day 2 will include a 73 Lap Michael Parsons Memorial race in Northern Fencing Super Late Models, with $2000 to win; a 66 Lap Ed Wellwood Memorial race in Superior Truck Repair Michigan Modifieds, wtih $1200 to win;Twin 36 & 37 Lap Features in Northland Autobody Factory Stocks; and twin 33 Lap features (full invert) in Great Lakes Bus Tours Factory Fours, with $300 to win each feature. Grandstand gates open at noon, with racing beginning at 3:00 pm. Raindate for this event will be Sunday Sept. 16th.
Weekend events will include School Bus Racing and a Demolition Derby. The track will also have basic onsite camping beginning on Thursday evening.
