Bagley fifth in Louisiana State Championship finale at Boothill

In a field of 20 cars, Bagley timed in second-fastest in qualifying before placing first in his heat. With $6,000 on the line in the feature, Morgan recorded a sixth-place finish in the 40-lap affair.

On Saturday, Morgan’s second-place finish in his heat placed him sixth on the starting grid for the $6,000-to-win finale. Clawing forward one spot, Bagley recorded a fifth-place finish, which came behind Tyler Stevens, Cade Dillard, Kyle Beard, and Brian Rickman.

Morgan continues to close the distance in the chase for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series title. He is currently 41 markers behind leader Brian Rickman.
