Shipley takes part in Attica lid lifter

Weston, Ohio’s Colin Shipley and his Shipley Racing team attended Attica Raceway Park (Attica, Ohio) on Friday for the track’s season opener in the UMP Late Model division.

Shipley got off to a strong start, steering his Jim White Honda No. 44s to sixth best out of 28 Dirt Late Models in qualifying on th 1/3-mile, banked clay oval at the Attica Fairgrounds.

However, after starting third and finishing fifth in his eight-lap heat, Shipley was unable to make the call for the B-Main.
