Martin travel North to compete with DIRTcar Summer Nationals
Parker Martin continued to follow the DIRTcar Summer Nationals from Kentucky to Illinois and invaded Macon Speedway (Macon, Ill) on Thursday afternoon to compete in the Herald & Review 100.
Among 37 Late Models, Parker earned his spot in the feature via a Last Chance Showdown and would roll off from the 21st-position in the feature. With $7,500 on the line, Parker was an early retiree just before halfway and was scored 17th.
Invading Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) on Friday evening, Martin qualified 14th-quickest and finished sixth in his stacked heat race. With one more chance to make the $10,000-to-win show, Parker came up one spot short in his Last Chance Showdown.
