ASCS Northern Plains Going For Three In Wyoming

Bryan Hulbert – CASPER, WY. (July 25, 2023) Rolling into a three-night stretch this weekend, the ASCS Northern Plains Region will head for Wyoming’s Casper Speedway on Friday, July 28, Gillette Thunder Speedway on Saturday, July 29, and Sheridan Speedway on Sunday, July 30.
Back to where the season started, the two-night affair in May was split by Nick Haygood and Austyn Gossel. Friday’s event offers teams at $1,250 to win. Grandstand gates open at 5:00 P.M., with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). Tickets per night are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, military, and first responders, and free for kids 12 and under. Pit Passes are $30.

Presented by K&K Import Repair, the season’s second attempt at action atop Gillette, Wy. clay on Saturday welcomes a $1,500 to win feature event. Gates open at 6:00 P.M., with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). The night’s lineup of classes will include Wissota Midwest Modified, IMCA Hobby Stock, Wissota Mod-4, and GTS Mini Bomber. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and veterans, $5 for 12 years and younger over four-feet-tall, and free for kids under four-feet-tall.

Last seeing ASCS Regional action in 2021 with the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region, Montana’s Trever Kirkland landed in Victory Lane at Sheridan Speedway. For Sunday’s event, the card will include WISSOTA Street Stock, IMCA Modified, and WISSOTA Midwest Mods. Tickets are $20 for adults and free for kids 12 and under. Gates open at 4:00 P.M., with racing at 6:00 P.M. (MDT).
