TWard tops Clay County for fifth win of 2024

Back in action after one night off, Tim Ward visited Hancock County Speedway (Britt, Iowa) on Monday for the Modified portion of the Sportmod Nationals.

Ward followed up a heat victory with a third-place finish in the feature.

In the Modified and Stock Car ranks on Tuesday, Tim raced into the Modified feature with a fourth-to-first run in his heat. Despite starting the feature on the fifth row, Ward made an impressive charge to the front to secure his fifth win of the season. He took the checkers ahead of Brandon Beckendorf, Cole Bents, Cody Knecht, and Kelly Shryock.

He steered the Jay Schmidt-owned No. 19 Stock Car to a seventh-place finish in the A-Main.
