Winter Freeze XV brings Garrett Smith to Screven Motor Speedway
On Friday afternoon, Garrett Smith made the trek to Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) to join the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series for their debut weekend during Winter Freeze XV.
With 35 Late Models on site, Smith won a Last Chance Race to start 11th in the $5,000-to-win opener where he would finish 14th. With $15,000 on the line Saturday night, Garrett started fifth in the 50-lap finale but faded to finish 15th.
