Cook rallies to fourth at East Alabama Motor Speedway
Dalton Cook returned to action in his New Point Lighting and Design No. 44D Late Model this past week as East Alabama Motor Speedway hosted the fourth round of the EAMS Super Late Model Series six-race mini-series.
With time trials setting the lineup for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Cook secured a front-row starting spot with the second-fastest lap overall. Despite suffering early-race contact that sent him to the rear of the field, he mounted an impressive charge through the pack to salvage a fourth-place finish in the 50-lap feature. He followed Josh Putnam, Jimmy Owens, and David Breazeale across the line, while Montana Dudley rounded out the top five.
