July Just in Time for the MLDS

West Allis, WI (July 1st, 2025) - If you thought the month of June was exciting for the Midwest Legends Dirt Series, just wait till you see what the month of July has in store. Seven different races including the biggest race in Legends history all await in the middle month of the season. Drivers will be tested with weekday racing throughout the month, but not without extra reward.

The month starts early, as early as the third day of the month. The MLDS returns on Thursday, July 3rd, to Luxy Raceway for the first time since May 9th after a rainout in June. The track holds the honor of being the first race of the Weekday Warrior Series Presented by Spankins Motorsports. The track, which had faced a plethora of rainouts in 2025, is excited for the MLDS to return and the series is excited to head back to one of its favorite tracks. Watchfye.tv is where the action can be viewed if you can’t make it in person.

The second race of the month takes us back to Sun Prairie’s Angell Park Speedway, for the final visit of 2025 on Sunday, July 13th. Hayden Schmuhl and Dallas Ross both share a single win in the two visits to the track so far. Many have come close but only one more driver will get to say they visited the historic victory lane in 2025 at APS. The race will be live on BadgerRacing.tv.

The Weekday Warrior Series returns for round two on Tuesday, July 15th, at 141 Speedway. A quick turn around of a day for the drivers means they have to make sure they are on top of their game when pulling into the pits. The Bullring, famous for close and tight racing, is bound to produce a barn burner for fans and drivers alike.

Then it’s another quick turnaround to Chilton’s Gravity Park Speedway on Friday the 18th. The second of three trips to the track will wrap up a difficult three race week. The track, known for being a racers track, will test even the best drivers, and only one will come out on top.

The series takes its only trip over the state border on Wednesday the 23rd, with a return to Iowa’s Maquoketa Speedway for the Jackson County Fair night. If the third of the four Weekday Warrior races is anything like the last few races at Maquoketa with the MLDS, the fair fans are in for a treat. All the action will be able to be caught live on doneright.tv.

The biggest payday in Legends racing wraps up the month on July 25th and 26th, a Friday Saturday special. The Legends.Direct 10K Dirt Showdown will bring some of the best from around the Midwest and the county to Beaver Dam Raceway, where one driver will take home $10,000. Friday will be formatted like a normal night, while Saturday will see timed qualifying and much more throughout the night. Fans will not want to miss the action in person but will be able to catch the action on BadgerRacing.tv the first night and FloRacing the second. Signups are still open for drivers who want to register.

A view at the point standings reveals Ryan Sullivan at the top of the table over Adam Zellmer and Schmuhl, with only sixteen points separating the top two and twenty-nine points between first and third. Talyn Neuman, Lilly Fassbender, and Rob Maule find themselves in worlds of their own for the most part in fourth, fifth, and sixth. Then a three point battle for seventh, eighth, and ninth see Nate Werner, Connor Carey, and Ross all right by each other. An inner family battle for the Swenson’s see Mike in front of son Cal by one point in tenth and eleventh. Tim Franz is alone in the twelfth-place spot and then it’s Keith Carey and Mackenzie Maule in thirteenth and fourteenth, going in at it for the rookie of the year award. Michael Weber and Carson Grob round out the top sixteen, seven points between the two of them.
