Logan Zarin

Top-10 finish with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Muskingum

A four-race stretch over the Fourth of July weekend saw Logan Zarin travel to three different states and deliver some of his most consistent performances of the season.

Kicking off the run with the Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series at The Dirt Track at Genesee (N.Y.), Zarin turned heads on Thursday by earning overall fast time honors and winning his heat race. Battling for a $6,000 payday in the feature, he came away with a solid fifth-place finish.

Returning to Genesee on Friday for the second night of the Stars and Stripes Showdown, Zarin followed up a runner-up heat effort with a strong third-place finish in the main event, joining winner Mason Zeigler and Dave Hess Jr. on the podium.

Continuing his momentum, Zarin joined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series field on Saturday at Muskingum County Speedway (Ohio) for the Freedom 60. After finishing second in his heat to lock into the $25,000-to-win feature, he slipped one position over the 60-lap distance to notch a ninth-place finish.

He matched that result on Sunday night at Eriez Speedway (Pa.), capping off the weekend with another ninth-place performance in the Mike Farr Memorial.
