Diercks finishes 12th in Fourth of July weekend finale at Dubuque
In an effort to dodge Mother Nature over the Fourth of July weekend, Spencer Diercks launched a planned tripleheader that began Friday at CJ Speedway. He advanced to the A-Main with a sixth-place finish in his heat but was an early retiree from the 20-lap feature.
Saturday’s stop at 34 Raceway was cut short when rain returned early in the program, forcing another weather-related disappointment.
Diercks capped the weekend with his strongest showing on Sunday, finishing 12th in the main event at Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway.
