Josh Bussino wins the overall twin 23’s (total 46) in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks
Lucas Wheeler wins on the last lap in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes 46 lapper

For Immediate Release BRS-07192025-1
Feature winners of the 58th consecutive season race week eleven Jim Fields #46 Memorial Race Thomas Placey in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, Lucas Wheeler in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; Shawn King in the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Sportsman Modifieds Limited; the Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets were OFF; Tim Higgins in the High Country Dispensary Late Models; Josh Bussino in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks; and Ryan Sayers in the Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat Ridge Runners. In the visiting Sprint Cars of New England Matt Tanner wins.
Thomas Placey was able to hold on to his front position and win big in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds after getting by Owen Brown who looked strong the first half of the race but would find himself on the outside doing the backwards shuffle. His weekly improvement is noticeable, and we are confident he will break into the top ten before the season is over. Today Melvin Pierson joins Placey in victory lane finishing in second with Robert Tucker joining the two crossing the line in third. Aiden Hervey and Mike Ryan completed the top five.
The Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes had one hell of a race with it coming down to the last lap to decide a winner. Robert Williams and Alexis Pushee brought the field to green and held their own for the first half of the extended lap main event in honor of Jim Fields #46. As the laps ticked off the field shuffled with the mid pack making its way to the front with Cody Gregoropoulos getting to the point and just two laps away from a win when the caution waved. The restart would see Gregoropoulos on the point with Lucas Wheeler and Jason Gray tight behind a slip the track by Gregoropoulos would give Wheeler the chance he was waiting for, allowing him to sneak underneath and bring home the checkers with Gray getting by for second. Gregoropoulos held on for third. Jason Horniak, starting from a non-qualified position worked his way all the way up to fourth with KC Pike rounding out the top five
Shawn King gets his second win of the season in the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Sportsman Modifieds Limited beating out Michael Danforth who finished in second and dad Bryan King who joined him in victory lane in third. Wayne Stearsn and Travis Shinn completed the top five.
The Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets were off and return to action on July 26th.
We are not quite sure what happened in the High-Country Dispensaries Late Models, after last week’s amazing race expectations were high for a repeat performance, but alas it was not to be. Unable to get a lap in the field was told to start single file and settle down, and when the dust finally settled it was Tim Higgins beating out a heavily damaged Richie Simmons and Chad McAlpine for the win. Cameron Grant and Sean Lyman rounded out the top five.
The LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks ran twin 23s which equal 46 the number of John Fields Father Jim Fields. Mike McClay got the win for the first 23 with Lucas Wheeler grabbing the second 23. Overall combined was Josh Bussino your winner with John Fields in second and Tyler Fellows in third. Keith Mansur and Jon Porter rounded out the top five.
Ryan Sayers advanced two positions over last week in the Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat of Woodsville Ridge Runners grabbing his first win. Sayers was able to hold off veteran Kevin LaForest and Spencer Braley, both former track champions. putting him in the top ten in points for the season. Lucas Balch and Zach Audet completed the top five.
The Sprint Cars of New England were in the house with a full field to take the green Will Hull brought the field to the green for their 25-lap main event. A quick caution on lap one required a complete restart and from there the field would go green to checkers often three wide on their quest for the win. Matt Tanner was the man on the move starting from deep in the pack working his way up the outside to the front. On lap eighteen he took the lead from Hull and left him in his dust. Hull was able to hold on to second with Caiden Herbert coming home in third. Jacob AWilliams and Matt Hoyt rounded out the top five. SCoNE will return to the Ridge on August 16th.
Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro Series will return to action on July 26, 2025.
