MADLER WINS FIRST GOV CUP CHAMPIONSHIP
Pole sitter, Bryce Barnhardt, led when the green flag waved in the INEX Legends feature. Noah Madler was all over Barnhardt’s rear bumper. A small bobble from Barnhardt allowed Madler to slip by and take the lead. Madler quickly pulled away from the field and started to catch the slower lapped traffic. Lapped traffic would hold up the leaders while Madler continued to stretch his lead. Using the slower lapped traffic to his advantage, Andrew Bargmann and Gage Madler passed Casey Martin for third and then a lap later, passed Barnhardt for second with three laps to go. Noah Madler would sweep the weekend and take over the points standings going into the final two races of the season. Andrew Bargmann finished second ahead of Gage Madler. Dauntae Martin would finish fourth while Kody Machart rounded out the top five.
