Vanderheiden with impressive stretch through Missouri and South Dakota; Eagle and Thayer County next
Cole Vanderheiden's weekend through Missouri and South Dakota was impressive, to say the least, earning not only three straight top-ten appearances while in action at Moberly Motorsports Park, Lucas Oil Speedway, and Huset's Speedway on August 15-17, but a top-five to boot, doing so in the aforementioned Moberly start on Friday, August 15. Vanderheiden's weekend accomplishments included a fourth-place run at Moberly during 360 sprint car competition, a ninth-place outcome at Lucas Oil amongst the 305 sprints, and a sixth-place finish during Racesaver action at Huset's.
Padding the weekend stat book, and adding to his double-duty evening in Wheatland, Missouri, Vanderheiden wheeled his 360 against the POWRi Outlaw Sprint League 410s at Lucas Oil and finished 11th; he started 21st.
