Timms secures Huset's championship, top-ten versus Outlaws; Port Royal Speedway next
Ryan Timms' 2025 campaign has been historic in so many ways, and now the young man out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, can officially add "Huset's Speedway Track Championship" to his list of accomplishments, securing so in winning fashion on Friday, August 29. Timms, the 2025 Knoxville Nationals champion, won Friday's main event from the front row, securing a heat race victory in the process.
Although unable to repeat Friday's outcome, Ryan Timms and Liebig Motorsports raced on to finish sixth with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Huset's Speedway on Sunday, August 31. Timms lined up fifth on the 40-lap grid, earning his way into the evening's Dash by way of heat race runner-up result.
The World of Outlaws were intended to make two starts at Huset's Speedway over Labor Day weekend, but Saturday's program was eventually canceled due to Mother Nature.
Ryan Timms and Liebig Motorsports will now hit the road east, set to join High Limit Racing in Port Royal Speedway's annual Tuscarora 50 on Thursday through Saturday, September 4-6. To learn more, visit Port Royal Speedway online at www.portroyalspeedway.com.
