Banks, Oregon- Defending Sunset Speedway Park Pure Stock champion Trevor LaBarge, of Forest Grove, is off to a great start to the 2015 season. Driving the DVC Machine/Pure Addiction Diesel Performance/S&R Motorz/Courtesy Auto Body/Jozee Girl Designs #7 Camaro he has finished the first two races in the top five. This Saturday night he will look for the victory on May 2nd.

“It's been a great start to the season,” said LaBarge, “I'm just happy to be racing this early in the year.”

This is LaBarge's second season behind the wheel and this year has a a new motor, courtesy of DVC Machine, and an extra crew member helping him out with set ups to the car. Last week Trevor paced the field for much of the race but was passed in the last few laps and ended up fourth. In the first race on April 18th he was a respectable second after catching the leader, but he ran out of laps.

“We've been really fast this season but we just haven't quite able to win just yet. I'm still learning some things but it's all apart of the experience.”

Keep an eye out for Trevor LaBarge and all of the regulars of the Pure Stock division at SSP this Saturday night. It's going to be a great night of racing.
