Northwest Wingless Tour Goes Back To Cottage Grove Speedway On Saturday August 22nd

Cottage Grove, Oregon- It has been three weeks since the Northwest Wingless Tour have been in action. On Saturday August 22nd they will visit Cottage Grove Speedway for the third time in 2015. CGS has hosted some very entertaining events this year when the NWWT has come to town.
The only driver to win more than one race with the Northwest Wingless Tour in the current campaign is Tim Alberding with two trips to victory lane. Kyle Miller, Mike Romig, Cooper Desbiens, Jonathan Jorgenson, and Wayne Van Raden all have gotten the job once. All drivers, except for Kyle Miller, have been first time winners with the tour this year.
Twenty-two total NWWT sanctioned races have occurred at CGS since the series was formed in 2009. Kyle Miller has a firm grip of the win list with fourteen triumphs. Kyler Barraza is the only other multi-race winner with two while Roger Crockett, Dale Smith, Kyle Mehner, Colin Baker, Jesse Thistle, Cooper Desbiens have won once.
Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, and 5 & Under FREE. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45.
