Memorial Day Weekend Triple Header - Military Appreciation, Wall of Fame, Red River Modified Tour, and Wild Bill White Shootout
When you say Memorial Day weekend at Heart O' Texas Speedway it means something different to many people. For all of us at the speedway it means honoring all of the men and women that have and are currently serving our great nation in the armed services as well as honoring the drivers that have left their mark and legacy at the speedway. Top that off with Two fabulous nights of racing action and you have one action packed weekend of racing. All of the weekend action kicks off this Friday Night May 24th.
May 24th is Military Appreciation night at the speedway. We will provide FREE General Admission to all military personnel and their dependents with valid ID to show our appreciation for what they and their families have done to provide the freedoms we have. Also on the show card will be the Texas Wing Modifieds, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Southern Sport Mods, Outlaw Street Stocks, Factory Stocks and Jr. Limiteds. Sunday May 26th at 1:00pm we will have our 2019 Wall of Fame Induction ceremony. We will be inducting five more individuals on to our wall. Those drivers are Keith Green, Paul White, Keith White, Sid Kiphen, and Doug Andrews. This event is free to the public and there will be free hotdogs, chips and drinks for everyone as well.
Sunday Night May 26th. The speedway will be hosting the 2nd Night of the IMCA Red River Modified Tour as well as the "Wild" Bill White Shootout featuring the ASCS Elite Non Wing Sprint Cars. The Red River Modified Tour already has a record number of pre-registered drivers and this event is shaping up to be a barn burner of a night of racing action.
Sunday Night Gates open at 5:00pm and Racing Starts at 7:00pm.
