Matjoulis Guides Swindell SpeedLab eSports Team to Podium at Williams Grove

Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (Aug. 13, 2019) – The Swindell SpeedLab eSports Team has garnered at least one top-five finish during every World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series iRacing event this season.

Blake Matjoulis kept the streak alive on Monday when he highlighted the team’s effort with a third-place run at Williams Grove Speedway. The strong result moved him within six points of the lead in the championship standings with only two races remaining.

“It’s just going to take runs in the top three, top five, staying consistent and trying to get every spot you can get,” he said in a post-race interview with the iRacing eSports Network.

Teammates James Edens and Matthew McKinney posted results of eighth and ninth, respectively.

Fellow Swindell SpeedLab eSports Team driver Kendal Tucker finished 13th. He took a hit in the points, but is still on top of the championship standings.

Teammate Adam Elby ended 16th.

The next event is Monday at Limaland Motorsports Park before the season wraps up the following week.
