BDS Motorsports and Rilat Race to ASCS National Tour Top-Ten Points Finish

Edmond, OK (October 31, 2018) It has been a long season on the road for the BDS Motorsports team with driver Travis Rilat, but this past Saturday night the team and driver both earned their top-ten finishes in the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour Points Standings. With rain canceling night one of the season ending Fall Fling, night two saw over 60 sprint cars entered in the National Tour season finale. By the end of the night, Travis would race from a 21st starting position to a 16th place finish at the always tough Creek County Speedway. With his finish Saturday night and his season long results, Travis earned a ninth-place finish in the overall National Tour standings. This is not too bad considering Travis had to miss a couple races in the middle of the season due to work conflicts.

In 2018 ASCS action, Travis and BDS earned six top-five finishes and 15 top-ten finishes out of 28 feature events. Travis also recorded several heat race wins and a podium finish in non-ASCS action at the famed Knoxville Raceway. The BDS Motorsports team also earned a top-ten finish in ASCS National Tour points, with open wheel standout Logan Seavey filling in for Travis during his conflicts.

Bryan, Jimmy, and the entire BDS team will now go to work during this busy, but short offseason. Bryan will head to multiple trade shows representing the BDS team and its great marketing partners and he and Jimmy will also be busy at the shop preparing for the 2019 season. Be sure to follow BDS Motorsports over the next few months as the team provides updates on upcoming plans, including a return to the Chili Bowl Nationals.

With the season coming to an end, Bryan and the entire BDS Motorsports team would like to thank all the fans for their support this season. The 2018 season was another great year of showcasing the team’s partners through the use of the merchandise trailer and giveaways to fans at the racetrack. Thank you to each and every fan who helped show your support for Travis and the team. Also, a huge thank you to all the marketing partners and sponsors that have been a part of this team throughout the entire season.
