Podium finish with Xtreme DIRTcar Series at Lavonia

Cla Knight visited Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) on Friday afternoon to enter his Allstar Concrete No. 42 into battle for the Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series doubleheader. In a field of 22 cars, Cla edged his way into the opening night feature with a fifth-place finish in his heat. Improving one spot in the 40-lap affair, Knight recorded a 14th-place outing. The following night, Knight came in 14th-fastest overall before placing fifth in his heat race. Earning the 14th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Cla marched through the field 10 spots in the 40-lapper to finish fourth. After the leader was disqualified, Knight was promoted to a third-place finish, trailing Kenny Collins and Ben Watkins across the line.
