Kokomo’s High Limit Sprint Car Race Postponed to Wednesday, May 3
KOKOMO, IN – April 30, 2023 – With thunderstorms set to douse the track and facility over the coming days, High Limit Sprint Car Series and Kokomo Speedway officials have agreed to push Tuesday’s originally scheduled date back by one day.
The third round of the inaugural High Limit Sprint Car Series campaign – presented by Driven2SaveLives, an organ donation awareness program by the Indiana Donor Network – will now take place on Wednesday, May 3.
“We feel like this gives the track and facility enough time to dry out so we can have a great racing surface by Wednesday,” said High Limit co-promoter, Brad Sweet. “With the warmer weather forecasted for Wednesday we feel like it’s the best move for our teams and fans to enjoy the show.”
An all-star cast of nearly 50 competitors is expected to compete in the $23,023-to-win, $1,500-to-start event at “Indiana’s Baddest Bullring” in Kokomo, Indiana. For those unable to attend, you can watch every lap live on FloRacing.com/HighLimit.
Tickets can be purchased on the Ticket Hoss App with Adult General Admission at $40, Kids (6-12) Admission $20, and Kids (5/Under) are welcome for free. Pit Passes are available at the gate for $45.
NASCAR Cup Series champion, Kyle Larson, and back-to-back All Star Circuit of Champions king, Tyler Courtney, currently share the points lead through two races with the High Limit Sprint Car Series. They’re followed by the most recent series winner in Anthony Macri, Missouri ace Brian Brown, California sensation Buddy Kofoid, Pennsylvania standout Brent Marks, Swindell SpeedLab pilot Justin Sanders, fan favorite Rico Abreu, and Kokomo’s own Parker Price-Miller.
