Dakota Godard Wins Big Sky IMCA Stock Car Finale At Willamette; S. Gentry Captures Track Championship

Lebanon, Oregon- The Big Sky Landscaping IMCA Stock Car Series wrapped things up on Saturday, September 21st. Willamette Speedway would be the site of the final battlefield of the 2019 campaign. A close track championship was on the line with just a couple of points separating some of the top contenders.
Dakota Godard closed out the season in a significant way. The Albany motorist scored his second victory of the season with the Big Sky series. It was the first time he had parked it with the group since June 29th at Willamette.
Vancouver, Washington veteran Arnie Case posted a second-place finish over Donald Schott, of Happy Valley, got third. The rest of the top five finishing order consisted of Jerry Schram, from Vancouver, Washington, and Gresham’s Kevin Roberts in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Kevin Roberts set the quickest time in time trials. Dakota Godard tasted success in both the trophy dash and the heat race. When the dust settled Lafayette’s Sean Gentry earned enough points to claim the 2019 Willamette Speedway track championship.
