Lebanon Midway and G3 Boats ready for USRA A-Modifieds return race with added incentive offered
By Ronnie Williams (Lebanon, MO) -- Martin trucking and 33 racing has announced a nice incentive for the Lebanon Midway USRA A Mod Race on Saturday Sept. 22nd.
Martin will offer a bonus of $333.66 to the driver that elects to start tailback and can cleanly capture the win and an extra lottery spot of $133.66 to a drive outside the top 3.
Rules are pretty simple-Must have a 14 car minimum. The top 6 in passing points are scheduled to redraw for there starting spots. Before any draw is done those 6 drivers will be asked if they want to take the offer from high point driver to 6th. If a driver says Yes-then the redraw will start. If all say no-no extra bonus money unless and the redraw will start for the scheduled 20 lap feature. If 14 or more are on hand a draw will happen for the lottery spot. Did we mention that it needs to be clean hard racing? Over 14 entries that start-The track will look at going 25 laps.
This race program will be awarding USRA National points for both The A Modifieds and B Modifieds.
Drivers who have expressed on being there includes-Springfield Raceway point champion Jody Tillman and the other half of the Taney County connection Jerry Lankton, The Racing Principal Jason Pursley, Former Midway B mod champion Mickey Burrell,Nathan Gold who last year had the feature won on Bud Perry Night until issues sent Gold to the pits. Jim Body, who had 2 Springfield feature wins, Well known and winning motor builder John Yeoman, Warsaw Hard charger Steve Scott who has an A Mod just waiting for his chance to roll it out, Dallas County Had Charger and Veteran Modified front runner Scotty Allen, defending USRA B Modified National Champion Ryan"The Kid Gilmore" and Danny Martin, Jeff Cutshaw and others.
With G3 Boat night at the races we hope that long time G3 employee and Modified veteran Donnie Fellers will pull his 24d in to compete.
Bud's Tire and Wheel will be giving away a Free American Racer G60 Tire to the winner, a racing wheel for the runner-up and a $25 certificate to 3rd place.
More information on this race will be posted-at this time USRA B Modifieds, Pure Stocks, Hornets, Midwest Modifieds will be competing along with The Street Stocks..
G3 Boats in Lebanon has several drivers who compete in local dirt track racing and are proud to be providing a night for the employees for the 2nd year.
Any other A Mod drivers let us know if you plan on making it to The Midway for this race this 500 to win 80 to start feature.
Gates open at 5PM with Hotlaps slated for 6:30 and Racing to begin at 7:30. Draw Cut-oo for all classes is 6:55 with drivers meeting after hotlaps. Pit passes are $30 for Adults and Kids are $10 while Grandstand Adult Admission is only 10 in the Grandstands.
