Sioux City 300 Enduro this Saturday at Park Jefferson Speedway

For the first time in over 20 years, the Park Jefferson Speedway will be hosting the Sioux City 300 Enduro race. Based on the rules of the popular Texas 600 along with the Hawkeye 600 at Hamilton County Speedway, the Sioux City 300 is an opportunity for drivers of all types of cars to be able to compete.

The rules are simple, 300 laps around Park Jefferson Speedway or 3 hour time limit from beginning to end will see a champion crowned for the first running of the Sioux City 300. "Kenny Wallace raced at Park Jefferson last year, and he was the one who presented the idea to us. He felt that Park Jefferson would be the ideal fit given the size of the track and the lack of walls which would allow teams to compete and not be in a position where they run into each other if there was an issue" stated AtoZ Promotions head Adam Adamson.

The Enduro rules allow effectively any self starting car to compete. Cars that are IMCA, USRA, WISSOTA, Demo Derby and more are allowed to enter and win. For complete rules go to www.parkjeff.com/rules.

Gates will open at 2pm on Saturday for competitors and 5pm for spectators. The green flag will drop at 6:30pm. Each team is required to supply 1 scorer who will meet for the drivers meeting at 5:30 in the clubhouse. Pit passes are $25. Spectator tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $3 for children 6-16.

For all of the technical rules, go to www.parkjeff.com/rules. For any further questions email the track at adam@parkjefff.com old call the track phone at 712-202-5540.
