Hardy Claims Potomac LLM Victory

In a thrilling 20 Lap Limited Late Model Feature, Kyle Hardy of Stephens City, Virginia
laid claim as the first repeat winner in 2025, taking the main event Friday Night at
Potomac Speedway. Starting second, Hardy escaped a first lap brush with the wall to
settle down and grab the early lead. As the race wore on, Hardy found himself turning
back repeated challenges by Jeremy Pilkerton to secure his second win of the season.
Pilkerton chased Hardy to the stripe with Sam Archer, Austin Lathroum, and Gregory
Carrico completing the top five. Heats went to Hardy and Archer.
In the 15 Lapper for the Modifieds, Mooresville, North Carolina driver Ty Norder became
the latest competitor to park the iconic Jerry Foster #5T Mod in victory lane. Starting 1 st ,
Norder led all 15 circuits, fending on last weeks winner Joey Polevoy, becoming the
third winner in as many races this season. Polevoy came home second, followed by
Robert Kramer Jr, Ryan Toole, and Michael Ciezoblca.
Parity in the Street Stock Division continued as Kyle Randall became the 5 th different
winner this season, taking the 15 lapper from his second starting spot. Rookie Dylan
Alton came home second, followed by Greg Morgan, Ricky Edmonds, and Dylan Penn.
Heats went to Wayne Hartley and Matt Tarbox.
The 15 lap event for the Strictly Stocks turned into an intense 3 car battle the entire
distance with points leader Greg Mattingly scoring his third win of the season. Chasing
Mattingly the entire way was defending champion Nabil Guffey and 2 time winner
Brandon Crenshaw, with Shawn Howsare and Sarah Culver completing the top 5.
In the 15 lap U Car nightcap, Travis Dye secured his first win of the season, becoming
the fourth different winner of the season. Stephen Suite came home second, followed
by Brooke Bowles, Keith Brown, and Faith Lacey.
