Off Road Speedway

A note from the Promoter

The 2024 OffRoad Speedway schedule promises to be another great year. Highlighting the schedule will be the United States Modified Touring Series on Tuesday, June 18th. This event on our calendar follows up on the national events of the last 2 years with the Lucas Oil, World of Outlaws and XR Racing series.
To start the season will be the Dirt Crown Series on April 13th. We have the rain date the following day (Sunday) but the secondary rain date would be April 20th.
The Malvern Bank 360 Sprints will again have 2 dates, May 11th and the season ending date of Aug 24th as part of the Lynn Langenberg Memorial on Championship Night.
June 1st will see the first night of the Super Late Models on the 2024 schedule with the Malvern Bank SLMR West series coming back on August 10th for the Bob Haase Memorial.
The schedule has 4 Saturdays that the OffRoad Speedway will be closed. Some of it is because necessity and others by design to give race crews and fans and couple of weekends off before heading into the last part of the race season and also to be off for Labor Day at the end of the year.
-1st date is June 15th. The following Tuesday will be the USMTS special on June 18th.
-2nd closed date is June 29th for the Big Bang Boom celebration here in Norfolk. To add to the Holiday weekend, the OffRoad Speedway will host the Outlaw Truck and Tractor pull on Friday the 28th. And follow up with the Independence Day races on July 3rd.
-3rd Saturday off is July 6th after the Firecracker 30 of July 3rd.
-4th will be the Saturday of July 13th but we will be racing on Friday, July 12th. Boone County will be off that night.
The Classes this year are IMCA Late Models, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Hobby Stocks and IMCA Sport Mods. Last season’s 4 cylinder class is renamed to Pro Stock 4. This class is designed to allow an easy way to get into the sport of Stock Car Racing. A meeting was held to discuss parameters and rules, and there seems to be a lot of interest.
This is a tentative schedule so some changes could be made. We will announce more details such as bike and bookbag night, race car rides, coin drop, fan and/or law enforcement, fire and rescue appreciation nights. We are also working on special sponsor nights and events for the upcoming season. Any questions or suggestions please let me know.

Happy Holidays, Jerry
