Siefert swipes $1000 IMCA Stock Car payday, Diefenthaler makes it 6 wins in a row at Outagamie Speedway.

(Seymour, WI by Edward Anschutz) July 14, 2023-Race Report presented by Klink Equipment and Elite Coatings Inc- 119 checked in to battle at Outagamie Speedway. There were 28 IMCA Modifieds, 29 IMCA Stock Cars, 28 IMCA Sport Mods, 15 IMCA Sport Compacts and 19 Unified Street Stocks.

Jeff Kropp paced the opening laps of the $1000 to win IMCA Stock Car feature. Kropp was quickly under attack by former IMCA Modified National Champion, Jared Siefert. Siefert took his Sniper Speed Chassis to the top groove, racing around Kropp for the lead on lap 4. Point leader Tyler Wilson came to call breaking into the runner-up position. Wilson began to dog Siefert just past the midway point. A caution on 12 bunched the field as Siefert led. That’s when it began to rain, forcing officials to cancel the remainder of the program. Siefert scored a clean sweep on the night and a pocket full of cash for his efforts. Wilson had to settle second but extended his points lead, Kropp was third and Rod Snellenberger completed the top four.

“The Dominator” Paul Diefenthaler once again showed why he is the current Unified Street Stock points leader. Diefenthaler made a daring 3 wide pass on leader Jesse Krahn and Justin Jacobson to take the lead with 8 laps remaining. Diefenthaler cruised to his 7th win in 10 nights of racing. Jeff Richards closed in late to place second at the stripe, Krahn was third and Beau Schroder took fourth.

Colton See when to victory lane for the first time in the IMCA Sport Mods. See led from the drop of the green and never looked back, collecting his first ever feature win at Outagamie with a clean sweep to boot. Rookie standout Coy Vlies placed a solid second, Max Oreskovich was third and Dylan Schmidt placed fourth. The race went green to checker.

Next Friday July 21st the IRA 410 Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Stock Cars will compete for the Outagamie County Fair. Races start at 6:30pm.
