I’ve always wanted to race. As a kid, I grew up watching and attending many different kinds of races. My family and I went to quite a few figure eight races in Barnes City. I lived just a few roads over from the go kart track in Newton and could hear the engines and see the lights every weekend. We even went to a few mud drags here and there.
Growing up, I was lucky enough to be able to ride four wheelers and drive boats around on the water, but I never got the chance to race. Now, I’ve been lucky enough to become a part of a family that has been apart of the dirt track racing world for three generations. Tim and Josh Saunders have agreed to teach me what they know. With their help, I was able to start racing IMCA Hobby Stocks in 2018.
