Holland nabs pair of top-10 finishes at Tyler County Speedway
Chase Holland replaced his familiar No. 45 Modified with the Burwell Motorsports No. 1 over the weekend for the inaugural Country Roads 100 event at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia. In two days of racing, he claimed results of eighth and fourth.
On Friday, Holland raced among 24 Modifieds at the quarter-mile oval in the Blue Ridge Mountain 30. He finished fifth in his heat race, starting him 15th in the 30-lap, $2,000-to-win feature. He steered to an eighth-place result.
Saturday saw 22 Modifieds descend on Tyler County Speedway for the Blue Ridge Mountain 40, a program paying $5,000 to the victor. Holland was runner-up in his heat, then started fifth and finished fourth in the 40-lap A-Main. He took the checkered flag following David Stremme, Cody Brightwell and K.C. Burdette. Kyle Bond claimed fifth.
