Jack has great run at the Turkey Gobbler
Our team is really proud of Jack’s driving this weekend at the Turkey Gobbler. The kid won his heat and finished 2nd in Sr Honda! He finished 2nd in his first big World Formula race! He battled for 8th in 160. In Sr Animal, the cap rattled loose and came off his carburetor with 2 laps to go, leaving his throttle hung wide open, yet he still hung on for 2nd place. Unfortunately, the car failed post race inspection due to the safety issue of the cap coming off, but that doesn’t diminish how well Jack did. Thank you to the Pio family for their incredible sportsmanship in offering to let Jack keep his 2nd place trophy.
Thank you to Huntsville QMA for putting on a great race, UltimateQM, Baker Racing Engines, Dale Raber, Uncle Larry and everyone who helped us get those cars on the track!
