Brief History
Jake has carried on a family tradition from his dad, Howard Cheatham. In 2000 at the age or 14 he began racing in the Hobby class . Jake competed at tracks throughout Northwest Florida and Alabama. In 2021, he moved into the 604 Crate Late Model ranks driving XR1 Rocket Chassis before debuting at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2022 during the Bristol Dirt Nationals, where he earned a runner-up finish.
