Driver Information

Grew up in a loving family and home. Dad had a brain aneurysm when I was 10. He was the 1% that made it through. My mom passed away with lung cancer when I was 12, luckily it was after I first started racing gokarts where I won my first track championship at Pine Valley Speedway. So thankful she was able to see a glimpse of what was to come in my career. I Did what I had too to get by in school because I honestly didn't want to be there. I started working when I got my license during my sophomore year in high school. Worked hard from that point on and never looked back. I've worked for a lot of car dealerships detailing cars, worked for Everett Chevrolet for over seven years going from a detailer to parts shipping and receiving. While I working in parts I met Harold Johnson who at the time owned and worked with Preston Peltier in Super Late Models. The connection turned into life long friendships that led to several highlights in life. In 2014 still working at the car dealership I won the PASS South Super Late Model Championship. Not a month after that I landed a fabrication position at Hendrick Motorsports thanks to Preston Peltier. In the past 10-1/2 years I've been at Hendrick I've been able to accomplish so many goals and dreams I never knew would come true. Not only at work but outside of work I married my best friend Heather and had two little boys closer in age than we had planned. My boys are Dawson and Hunter and they are one year and thirteen days apart. Almost like having twins. My ultimate chance of a lifetime was working on the Garage 56 Program which built and raced a cup car in the 24 Hours of LeMans in 2023. My dreams of racing are still alive. I ultimately want to run at least an Xfinity series race before my racing days are over. It's a long shot but can still happen. I know I can wheel a car with the best of them proving that by winning races. I'm very thankful for my family and the time I had and have with loving parents, grandparents, children and in-laws. The story is still being written and one day God will call us all home.
